91.1 WSFM/Steamboat Springs, is back on the air. The nonprofit station serves the Yampa Valley area of Colorado.
Suzie Leeson, President of the WSFM Board of Directors, told the Steamboat Pilot & Today that the station’s antenna was most likely damaged by a repair crew working on someone else’s equipment high up on Storm Peak, on Colorado’s western slopes.
The station, that was started in the 1970s, was off the air for about a month.
