In celebration of the 36th anniversary of 89.5 KVNE, the station will be adding two new stations in January 2020. Based in Tyler, TX, One of the stations will feature Christian music in Spanish similar to what is currently carried on KVNE, but hosted with local Spanish speakers.
Fuzión 102.3/103.1 will be the Spanish Christian music station, while the Bible teachings station will be branded The Well 94.3/95.3. Troy Kriechbaum, Encouragement FM President/CEO, told the Tyler Morning Telegraph, “There is no Hispanic Christian music radio station for all of East Texas. We want to reach people for Jesus in their heart language.”
According to Kriechbaum there are more Spanish-speaking people in East Texas than ever before in the station’s history.
