Country station KKBQ-FM/Houston has added Caitlin “CJ” Johnson to its on-air lineup. Johnson will host afternoon drive beginning November 11. She succeeds legendary host, Cactus Jack, who retired in August.

“I’m so excited to have CJ join the 93Q family,” said Johnny Chiang, Director of Operations for Cox Media Group Houston. “Her enthusiasm, energy, and love of life make her the perfect fit for our strong on-air team. I can’t wait to introduce her to our listeners.”

Johnson hails from Florida where she completes a four-year on-air stint with CMG Jacksonville, most recently hosting afternoon drive for WAPE-FM, a Top 40 format.
