Kansas City’s KCJK-FM has been rebranded 105.1 The X and will play what it is calling the “Rockternative” format — a combination of Active and Alternative Rock. Artists featured on 105.1 The X include Tool, Shinedown, The Black Keys, Disturbed, The White Stripes, Motley Crue, Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam and other artists across generations.
In addition, Cassiday Proctor has been brought in from Hubbard to host afternoon drive. Proctor joins Cumulus Kansas City from St. Louis where she was afternoon personality for 106.5 The Arch/WARH-FM.
