Langston Says He Was Dead For Over Three Minutes

Los Angeles Angels broadcaster Mark Langston was back at the stadium Sunday, nine days after he was revived following a medical emergency in the radio booth.

The 59-year-old former major league pitcher, collapsed right after announcing the lineup September 20.

He was brought back to life by two Houston police commanders. Langston told reporters he was “dead for 3½ minutes.” Langston has since had a defibrillator inserted into his heart.
