After leaving congress Joe Walsh launched a talk show which is now syndicated by The Salem Radio Network. According to Crain’s, Walsh, a harsh critic of President Trump, will announce this week that he’s running for President. Walsh spent one term as a Chicago-area congressman has repeatedly called Trump a liar.
No word yet on what will happen to Walsh’s show. He’s been hosting a local show in Chicago on WIND-AM since 2013. Salem syndicated him in the 9 p.m. to midnight slot, 2017 to replace Steve Deace.

Former Pro-Trump cheerleader and One-Term Congressman Joe Walsh gets syndicated by SRN (while all of Salem Media Group’s Nationally Syndicated Hosts are extremely Pro-Trump), and uses that as a launchpad to run against Trump for the Republican nomination. Will he succeed with the run, not Presidentially, but that isn’t the point anyway; instead it will further boost his personal and Talk Show visibility.
Meanwhile, I am not carried by Salem Media Group, perchance because of my opposition to Trump from the outset of his Presidential campaign. Fair is fair right?
