Cox Media Group’s WGAU in Athens, GA is adding The Erick Erickson Show to its weekday lineup. Erickson, host of “Atlanta’s Evening News” on WSB Radio, will host his new syndicated show on the Athens-based station weekdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The show will also be available to stations across Georgia on the Georgia News Network.

Erickson commented, “I fell into radio by accident and it has really become my passion. Combining that with my passion for politics and Georgia into a radio show is a dream come true.”

While practicing law, Erickson oversaw a number of political campaigns at the federal, state, and local level and served as a city councilman in Macon, Georgia. For the last eight years, he’s been the voice behind WSB radio’s evening drive time and is well known for his political contributions on CNN and Fox News.

  1. This is probably being done in preparation for the irrelevant, stuttering lardass’s departure from WSB radio where his ratings are awful and he has no audience or sponsors.
