On-air personality DJ Holiday has been promoted to the role of Assistant Program Director for Entercom Classic Hits station WMXJ-FM/Pompano Beach, FL. The company also announced a new multiyear contract extension with DJ Holiday.
“This is a natural move for both our station and DJ Holiday,” said Keriann Worley, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Entercom South Florida. “DJ Holiday has grown up with this music and has an intimate knowledge of the market, having spent many nights spinning at Miami clubs.”
DJ Holiday will continue in his current roles as Music Director and afternoon drive host for 102.7 The Beach, positions he has held since the station’s inception in 2016. Prior to that, he was afternoon drive host for the station’s predecessor Magic 102.7. DJ Holiday also held on-air roles for now-sister-station Power 96 (WPOW-FM).
