Home Depot Once Again Widens The Gap

The big-box home improvement giant has put daylight between itself and perennial rivals GEICO at the top of the Media Monitors list for radio’s leading advertisers. The Depot ran 86,240 spots nationally last week, compared to the insurance goliath’s 48,048. Lowe’s held onto third place with 36,015 ads run, Sprint moved up a place to fourth with 35,398, while Progressive made a similar move up to fifth with 31,250 ads aired. Discover leapt into the top 10, going from 39th to ninth place.
