Stephens Media Group has named Josh Venable to be the new Program Director of KTSO/Tulsa. Venable will continue his PD and morning show duties on KMYZ. He started his radio career in Dallas in 1993 while still in high school. Before relocating to Tulsa to helm Z104.5 The Edge in 2013, he was PD of The Edge in Dallas and Music Director at 987FM in LA.
“Josh has been involved in the Totally Awesome ‘80s brand since its inception in 2016, so this promotion was an easy one for us,” said SMG SVP of Programming Bob Thornton. “Josh is smart, passionate, and one of the best programmers in the country.”
