CBS News is offering a one-hour Apollo 11 special, “One Giant Leap Revisited,” beginning Thursday, July 11, to run ahead of Apollo’s July 16 launch anniversary and through July 20, which marks the 50th anniversary of the moon landing.
CBS Correspondent Peter King will bring listeners from the Apollo 11 launch pad in Cape Canaveral, Florida, to the Johnson Space Center in Houston, where he will hear from the men and women who made the mission possible.
