Barrett Sports Media has chosen New York City as the location of its 2020 BSM Summit, to be held Wednesday, February 26 and Thursday February 27 at the Ailey Citigroup Theater located on 405 West 55th Street at 9th Avenue.
“When last year’s event ended I asked attendees and industry folks who didn’t make it to L.A. where they’d like our next show to take place,” said BSM President Jason Barrett. “I expected everyone to choose a tropical paradise with great beaches, bars, and casinos simply so they could use the Summit as an excuse to get out of two days of work. The feedback though was strongest for the Big Apple, a city with its fair share of entertainment options but also home to some of the best brands and talent in the sports media industry. Planning has already begun to make sure this our best event yet.”
The two-day affair focuses on various aspects of the sports media business including talent management, content creation, timely imaging, social media, podcasting, sales, and growth categories such as sports betting and eSports.
