The big-box home-improvement chain savaged the opposition again last week when it came to radio advertising across the nation. According to Media Monitors, Home Depot exceeded 90K spots once again, and this time the total was even higher: 94,257. Lowe’s moved up a place to second position, but only managed half the ads run by the Depot, 46,446. Progressive was third (29,152), McDonald’s fourth (27,162), and Indeed (25,569) rounded out the top five. In what is almost a shock, perennial advertising powerhouse GEICO slipped to seventh position running 23,363 spots.
