“Out Of Bounds” Is Over And Out

0

New York State public radio station WSKG is reporting on its website that Out of Bounds, hosted by Tish Pearlman, is going out of production in early June after 14 years, due to a lack of funding. The award-winning program has been the only locally produced public affairs/arts/humanities interview show that featured in-depth, thoughtful, and educational 30-minute weekly conversations with local, regional, and national guests.

Pearlman — a broadcast journalist, political activist, and poet originally from Manhattan Beach, California — was also the show’s creator. Over the years she has tackled a wide range of serious issues and featured a continuous stream of outstanding guests from various walks of life. People like Howard Zinn, Jeremy Scahill, Alison Lurie, and Janis Ian.

All 700+ shows will continue to be available (with full audio) at the show’s website www.outofboundsradioshow.com
