Worcester, MA, is the scene of the three Cumulus promotions. Chuck Perks (pictured at left), Program Director WWFX-FM, has been named Ops Manager for Country station 98.9 FM NASH Icon/WORC-FM in Worcester, while Keith Stephens has been promoted to PD at WORC, and Matt Henry moves up to Stephens’ previous position as Promotions Director for WXLO, WWFX, and WORC-FM from his role as part-time staffer in the Cumulus Worcester Promotions Department.
Bob Goodell, Regional VP, Cumulus Worcester/Boston/New London, said: “Chuck and I
worked together in a previous radio life and he has been a valuable programming partner to have with me here. Keith has a passion for radio, and Country in particular, which makes it exciting for me to put someone like him in the driver’s seat of 98.9 NASH Icon. I look forward to seeing how much more these two radio stations can accomplish in Worcester under their leadership.”
Goodell added: “Matt has an enthusiasm for radio and promotions of a caliber few could rival. He’s a very welcome addition to our team at Cumulus Worcester/Boston.”
