The home improvement giant held onto the number one position on the Media Monitors’ listing of radio’s leading advertisers for last week, but GEICO, which remained in second place, made it very close. Home Depot ran 51,160 spots and GEICO 50,058 spots. There was a bigger gap to the next in line, Progressive, which held fast at third position with 32,813 ads run. Completing the top five were Sprint (31,776) and Seriously (27,774). The top 10 were all familiar faces without anyone making a big leap to get there.
