The product is called Swoot and the goal of the new app is to make it easy for podcast listeners to recommend shows to friends. Users can link to their followers on Facebook and Twitter then choose to follow friends already using the app.
There are two ways to track Podcasts your friends are listening to. A feed that shows you everything your friends are listening to or recommending, and a list of episodes that are trending, with icons showing you the friends who have listened to at least 20 percent of an episode.
