Harvey joined fellow entertainers, celebrities, and business leaders in Atlanta at the inaugural Beloved Benefit, hosting a gathering of more than 2,000 people celebrating community service and empowerment. The event was a huge success, raising over $5 million. Special appearances included Dr. Martin Luther King’s daughter Rev. Bernice King and granddaughter Yolanda Renee King, Congressman John Lewis, Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms and others. The money raised will go to several non-profit organizations benefiting Atlanta’s historic Westside neighborhood to combat poverty, hunger, and homelessness.
