Entercom and Premiere Networks have announced a long-term contract extension that will keep the national radio talk show host on 15 Entercom talk stations across the country.

“Listeners nationwide across Entercom’s talk stations continue to engage with Rush’s signature take on the media and political landscape,” said Pat Paxton, President of Programming, Entercom. “For over 30 years, Rush Limbaugh has been a driving force on air and we look forward to our continued partnership.”

“From ratings to revenue, Rush continues to be a powerful voice in talk radio,” said Peter Tripi, Senior Vice President of Affiliate Relations, Premiere Networks. “His ability to engage and connect with millions of listeners, while driving positive results for our partners, is unparalleled. We’re delighted to continue our successful relationship with Entercom.”

  1. How much is the deal worth? Limbaugh’s take home pat has been dwindling for years now. Witness how in 2008 he couldn’t brag enough about his new deal and the latest extension nary a peep. Ratings are down or at least they would be it the company that syndicates his show would release the actual numbers.

  2. No one can match the intelligence and insight in each daily program. Rush’s factual knowledge of past events is fantastic and very informative, at least for those who have lost sight of how history helps shape the future. Listen and learn.

  3. I’m not a conservative & I don’t always agree with everything most conservatives say, but there has to be someone out there that Entercom can replace Rush Limbaugh with that’s not some two faced offensive person. I would like to believe that not all conservative radio hosts are offensive.
