News/Talk station KGO 810/San Francisco has added three veteran talk show hosts: Mark Thompson, Pat Thurston, and John Rothman. The station will debut its new programming schedule beginning Monday, March 11.
The Mark Thompson Show will air Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-12 p.m., followed by The Pat Thurston Show, airing daily 12 p.m.-3 p.m., and The John Rothman Show, which will air each weekday 6 p.m.-9 p.m.
“I’m excited to be able to add more live and local programming to KGO,” said KGO-810 PD/Operations Manager Lee Hammer. “KGO is talking about the major stories of the day and the impact they have on our daily life. To get those conversations started, we’ve added three outstanding and veteran talk show hosts, each with their own unique style of engaging, informing, and entertaining our listeners.”
Thank You KGO for coming to your senses. I had stopped listening to KGO 810 because I wanted to listen to hosts that are up-to-date on what is happening in our area and our country. Hosts with an undeniable depth of knowledge and are fully capable of connecting all the dots. John Rothman is a host who is not rattled by difference of opinion, one who knows when to call out pushy over-bearing callers that are just trying to take up air time so that no other views are heard. He makes sure the facts are clearly stated and keeps well meaning, but inaccurate callers informed of the real facts – backed up by plenty of sources. What a relief. THANKS! TRULY.
