Prosecutors in New York say strip club operator Michael Wright helped former WFAN morning show co-host Craig Carton steal $2 million. They recommend Wright spend between 21 and 27 months in prison for his role in the ponzi scheme.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office says Carton, Joe Meli and Wright tricked investors into funding a ticket resale business. Authorities allege the men used the money to pay off gambling debts.

Mali pled guilty to fraud charges in October 2017 and was sentenced to six and a half years in federal prison.

For his role, Carton was found guilty in late 2019. Carton will be sentenced on April 5. He faces up to 45 years in prison.
