Andy Anderson has been named President, Sales, for the Auburn Urban Radio Network’s 500-plus radio station affiliates. For the past 11 years he was Vice President Sales, Eastern Region.
Prior to AURN, Anderson worked for Billboard magazine as Director, Urban/Canadian Advertising, the first African American to hold such a position with the magazine. He began his 35-year career in sales and marketing when he was recruited by Libbey-Owens-Ford his senior year at Howard University. Anderson is an alumnus of the NAB’s Executive Development Program for Radio Broadcasters at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.
