Cox Atlanta has named Terri Avery Program Director at WALR-FM Kiss 104.1. Most recently, Avery served as Radio Station Manager and instructor at Carolina School of Broadcasting in Charlotte, NC. Prior to that, she spent 14 years as the Operations Manager/PD for CBS Radio’s WPEG/WBAV in Charlotte. Her career also includes programming stops in Baltimore, Dallas, and Houston.
“I am so excited to join the Cox Media Group Atlanta team and serve as the Program Director of WALR,” said Avery. “I look forward to working alongside Chris Eagan, Steve Smith, Donna Hall, Tim Clarke, and the Kiss 104.1 team. Look out ATL, here I come.”
