It was for 12 hours for the syndicated host, and the reason they gave him was hate speech. Larson says the reason was for replying to an activist who lashed out at Portland police. Officers shot 36-year-old Andre Catrel Gladen. Police say Gladen’s landlord called police after he refused to leave a doorstep and entered the home when officers arrived.
Gladen suffered from schizophrenia and was blind. According to Willamette Week there was a witness who saw Gladen pull a knife. Gladen was killed after being shot in the incident.
Former Mayoral candidate Sarah Iannarone tweeted, “The headline kinda says it all, doesn’t it? We know the police kill. Question is whether we will ever stop funding this deadly paramilitary force and start funding things that actually keep the people of Portland safe.”
Larson says he was only pointing out that the man invaded a stranger’s home, fought a cop, pulled a knife, and posed a threat. He tweeted “Gee @sarahforpdx you think the cops make PDX dangerous? Read the story and you find the dead man was 1) paranoid schizophrenic 2) invaded a stranger’s home 3) fought with the officer 4) pulled a knife. What’s your millennial snowflake solution to that situation without the cops?”
And that got him banned for 12 hours after his tweet was flagged as hateful after Iannarone reported him.
She told the paper she stands by her decision to report the account. “Right-wing Twitter is a platform predicated on inaccurate, misleading, and hateful speech, right up to the highest levels of government with our Tweeter-in-Chief.”

The current Commander in Chief is a moderate by any definition. He’s hardly a ‘conservative’, and not exactly “backed” by evangelicals (that would be Pence). You’re projecting your fantasies instead of facing reality. It was the resurgence of “Reagan Democrats” –not far left liberals– who voted for Trump in MI, OH, PA, WI, etc. They simply couldn’t stomach an HRC regime and more America bashing by her cadre.
