National Association of Broadcasters President and CEO Gordon Smith is Radio Ink‘s Radio Executive Of The Year. The NAB scored some very big victories for radio in 2018. Gordon Smith and his team at the NAB are responsible for those accomplishments.
Radio Ink Publisher Deborah Parenti says Smith has demonstrated remarkable leadership since taking the reins of the NAB. “Gordon’s charismatic personality and the knowledge he brings as a highly respected [former U.S.] Senator, have greatly benefited broadcasters. Our industry is indeed fortunate to have his wisdom, passion, and strong ethical compass representing our interests.”
Beasley Media CEO, and Radio Ink‘s 2017 Radio Executive of The Year, Caroline Beasley, commented on our choice. “There is no one more deserving of this honor than Senator Gordon Smith.
