This Frog Raised $321K For Children’s Hospital

Riverside, CA, station K-FROG’s (KFRG-FM) 17th annual Stater Bros. Charities K-FROGGERS 4 Kids Radiothon raised over $321,000 for Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital in Loma Linda, CA, to benefit pediatric cancer patients. K-FROG broadcasted live for 14 hours from Bass Pro Shops at Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, on December 5 to raise funds. Listeners were able to donate via the station’s phone bank or on the station’s website.

“Year after year, our listeners step up to help the kids and families at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital,” said Michael Valenzuela, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Entercom Riverside. “I am proud of our station’s efforts in assisting the hospital’s mission of helping the children in our community in their fight against pediatric cancer.”

Over the past 16 years, K-FROG has raised $6.7 million for Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital, with the funds going towards improvements to hospital rooms including new beds, televisions, sleeper chairs for parents, and more.
