The 20th Annual 98.5 KLUC (Las Vegas) Chet Buchanan Show Toy Drive had another record-setting year, receiving over $500,000 in cash and gift cards. Buchanan once again braved the elements for 12 days (Nov. 29-Dec. 10), living 24 hours a day, 30 feet up in the air on a 30×40 scaffolding platform in the parking lot of NV Energy, to benefit HELP of Southern Nevada, a nonprofit organization that assists less fortunate families during the holiday season. The event filled 37 semi-truck trailers with new toys, along with collecting 8,757 bikes and $505,448 in cash and gift cards.
