Ten media members were honored, Tuesday, at the 16th Annual Library of American Broadcasting Foundation’s Giants of Broadcasting & Electronic Arts Awards ceremony. The NAB’s John David and iHeart’s Ryan Seacrest were among the honorees. The awards were presented during a luncheon emceed by ABC News’ Nightline co-anchor Juju Chang with a guest appearance by Kelly Ripa. The event was held at New York City’s famed Gotham Hall.
A posthumous award was made to Commander Eugene F. McDonald, Jr., a radio and TV pioneer and founder of Zenith Radio Corp., in celebration of Zenith’s 100th Anniversary.
