Long Island’s K-98.3 (WKJY-FM) will spend the holiday season granting wishes to Long Islanders in need. In partnership with NEFCU, the station will provide toys, appliances, and more to recipients nominated by listeners as part of K-98.3 Christmas Wish. Requests will be judged based on a number of pre-set criteria, including sincerity, persuasiveness, and need. Wish recipients will be notified on-air throughout December. Last year, one such wish recipient was Kelly M. from Farmingville, who had her wish hand-delivered to her and her young daughters by Frosty The Snowman.
“Our Christmas Wish program is one of the most rewarding things we do at K-98.3,” said Jon Daniels, WKJY Program Director. “We’re more than just ‘Music That Makes You Feel Good,’ we’re Long Islanders too, and we feel great about being able to help the community when we can, especially during the holiday season.”

Hi I’m Amber Olsen I am mentally and physically challenged I have bipolar and ptsd as well As many physical things going on! I have kidney dissease and aperxia and I live in an apartment treatment program ran by family residence there are two of us at my location where I live and 6 men us two are weman! We have not really gone on rec trips this year! The men have but us weman have not! We also have not! Me and my roommate live at 449 Lincoln Blvd apartment 1 t hauppague New York 11788 we love to color and do other art work we love to wear make up and love to wear perfume! I love to make art for people all over Long Island and love to pass it out! I make it for people in other states as well! This year as a group gift I would love for some scratch art projects as well as some wood cut out projects some markers even if it’s only a pack of 8 markers some other craft supplies as well as some food and snacks! I would also like some bath supplies and make up and some new age spiritual books and work books as well as adult coloring books and some clothes that are 2 X-Large and a pair of shoes I live at 449 Lincoln Blvd apartment 1 t hauppague New York 11788 oh yeah and most of my family either died this year or are really sick my aunts dieing my great is getting very old and dieing my grandma who was actually my favorite person because she raised me and I lived with her most of my life died in April on Good Friday and my uncle died last year in October I am feeling very sad and can really use a pick me up! It would even be nice if I can recieve a few things for my self before Christmas to help me get through all of this thanks

Name is Charles Rowland I live in pensacola Fl I am 47 years old and unemployed iam currently taking care of my disabled mother and sister my sister is having difficulty walking don’t know why yet my mom is 84 had a stroke is prone to falls as my sister is if you could consider me for a Christmas wish my wish is for my sister to have a nice Christmas my mom who has a birthday before Christmas so she should get double I don’t know what to get them this year except gift cards but I don’t even have money to get gift cards so I guess what I’m asking for my wish is three gift cards from either walmart or Amazon if I qualify please consider
