Reporting on religion can be an illuminating, though sometimes delicate, undertaking. Which makes this event well worth considering. The National Association of Broadcasters and the NAB Education Foundation are bringing together news directors, reporters, journalism school faculty, and members of the faith community to discuss their experiences and recommendations about reporting on sensitive stories involving religion.
The event takes place October 22, 9:30 to 11:15 a.m., at NAB Headquarters, 1771 N Street NW, Washington, DC.
Reporters interested in attending in person should contact Jamie Enright or RSVP to view the live stream of the event.
