Talk radio host Anthony Cumia is set to release a new memoir this fall. Titled Permanently Suspended: The Rise and Fall… and Rise Again of Radio’s Most Notorious Shock Jock, this marks Cumia’s first collaboration with publisher Post Hill Press and will be distributed by Simon & Schuster. Today, Cumia is the co-host of the popular Anthony Cumia Show, however, the jock is most well-known from the legendary, nationally syndicated Opie and Anthony Show. Permanently Suspended is an all-access pass to the controversial mayhem that ensued on-and-off the air.

Add this to the list of books I’ll never read. This dude’s self inflicted dive into obscurity is one of the best social media cautionary tales I’ve ever seen. Only Elon’s tweet that cost him 20 million exceeds the total implosion that Mr. Cumia did to himself with his Twitter account combined with a young female’s periscope video showing what a complete piece of crap Anthony is.

Wow, I remember this guy. I thought he died of a heart attack a while back.
The last I heard about him was that he was forced to go to rehab to avoid a prison sentence for beating his ex-gf like a savage and breaking her ribs. A quick Google search shows he’s now unsurprisingly dealing with some serious sexual assault/rape/molestation allegations. Sad!
