iHeartMedia Charleston has hired Pete Norden as its new Senior VP of Sales for that market’s four stations. Norden has 24 years of radio experience. He’s moving to Charleston from Tampa where he held a similar position for iHeart. Norden also spent time as Market President for iHeart in Sarasota. He began his radio career in 1989 at WWAV in Destin, Florida.
Norden will report to iHeartMedia Charleston Area President Alene Grevey, who said, “Pete is an exceptionally strong broadcaster and leader and we are truly thrilled to have him be a part of team iHeartMedia Charleston. His experience will blossom in our culture and his commitment to excellence will matriculate throughout the sales organization.”
Norden added, “I am genuinely looking forward to joining the Charleston iHeartMedia team,” said Norden. “I’m very excited to help develop the sales team and cultivate business for the market and across the iHeartMedia footprint.”
