Tim Leary from The New 98.9 The Bull’s Tim, Red & Claire went over the edge of the 25-story, 250-plus foot Hotel Murano in Tacoma, WA, to raise awareness for the Habitat Challenge, a fundraiser benefitting the local Habitat for Humanity. Fortunately, he was appropriately harnessed.
Leary said, “That was one of the most unbelievably challenging things I’ve ever done! Two hundred and fifty feet is a long drop, especially not being a fan of heights. I am very thankful to be a part of this for Habitat for Humanity. I am also very thankful to be on the ground!”
The Habitat Challenge is a thrilling fundraiser for Tacoma/Pierce County Habitat for Humanity in which individuals rappel down the face of the second-tallest building in Tacoma in the name of affordable home ownership.
