Eagles Fly High With Radiothon

Last week we reported that the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles were launching their own radiothon for charity. Well the results are in and a total of $201,632 was raised for the Eagles Charitable Foundation. From August 30 to September 5, Eagles fans and SportsRadio 94WIP listeners had the opportunity to bid on exclusive experiences involving their favorite Eagles players and 94WIP radio personalities. All proceeds will benefit ECF, the team’s public charity, which provides the Philadelphia region with greater access to vision care and autism research.

“It was an honor to have been a part of this incredible initiative for the 19th straight year and to have a hand in making a difference in our local community,” said David Yadgaroff, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Entercom Philadelphia. “Every dollar counts when it pertains to making a difference in the lives of others, and I’m particularly proud of our generous listeners who helped us reach this goal.”

“We are beyond grateful for the overwhelming support our community has shown, once again, for the Eagles Radiothon,” said Christina Weiss Lurie, President, Eagles Charitable Foundation, Eagles Social Responsibility. “As a result of everyone’s generosity and commitment, we are able to continue impacting the lives of many children in the Greater Philadelphia region through our vision care program and support of autism research and services. We appreciate 94WIP and Santander for their transformative partnership and thank all of our donors who have helped make this another milestone year for the Eagles Radiothon.”
