Did Alex Jones Have a Pirate Radio Station?

The Statesman is reporting that a pirate station serving as Jones’ Austin flagship has been taken off the air after the FCC hit the owners with a $15,000 fine. This week a lawsuit was filed in Austin accusing Liberty Radio of operating at 90.1 FM without a license since at least 2013. Religious programming is now airing on that frequency.

  1. How does a someone re-broadcasting your content to a SMALL audience turn into “your flagship”?

If I copy the NY Times on a copier and hand a copy to a couple friends, am I then the “flagship” distributor of the NY Times? One outlet can’t get the facts straight and the entire “press” regurgitates it without correcting it. Way to fail at journalism, everyone.
