Angela Yee’s popular book club, Kickin’ It from The Stoop (#KIFTS), continues to grow with a new in-store display at Barnes & Noble’s flagship store on 5th Avenue in New York City. Hosted by The Breakfast Club personality, along with friends Tasha Hilton and Tony Forte, #KIFTS meets monthly at WOODStack Ivy in Brooklyn — NYC sportswear and casual style shop for women — and is joined by a group of club members as they discuss the book selection of the month. The gathering is also broadcast on Facebook Live via Yee’s page.
Kickin’ It from The Stoop started with Yee and her closest friends, and grew into a collaborative vision between the Premiere Networks-syndicated host, Atria Books, and WOODstack IVY. New Yorkers can RVSP here for the next book club meeting on August 15, which will feature a discussion of “Editor in Chic: How to Style and Be Your Most Empowered Self” with author Mikki Taylor.
