San Diego Classic Rock station KGB-FM is bringing back the DSC show to morning drive, from Monday, August 6. The new DSC will include show members Dave Rickards, Cookie “Chainsaw” Randolph, Chris Boyer, Nina “Ruth 66” Reeba, Emily Maguire, and Sarah Beebe. It will broadcast weekdays from 6 – 10 a.m.
“After 28 years as the top-rated morning show in San Diego, DSC has come full circle with its return to the legendary 101.5 KGB-FM,” said Rickards. “I’ve always felt that KGB was our home, and nothing beats a happy homecoming.”
“It feels amazing to bring DSC back to where it all began – the legendary 101 KGB,” said Chainsaw. “We are thrilled to continue making you smile and laugh coffee out of your nose every morning.”
I started listening to Shelly and Cainsaw in the 80’s when they were with KDKB in Tempe. They moved to SD about the same time as I did. Was very upset with KGB when the Dawn Patrol was let go. Now Im back with you guys. Unfortunately I moved to Sahuarita AZ. but there is always the pod cast.
