The NAB Education Foundation has named the participants in the 2018 Technology Apprenticeship Program. TAP exposes technology-focused graduates and young professionals to the broadcast industry through a six-month, hands-on training program that includes a paid two-month internship. Participants become Certified Broadcast Technologists by the Society of Broadcast Engineers and receive training from the International Association for Broadcast & Media Technology Suppliers. The program concludes with a workshop at NAB headquarters in Washington, DC, where participants will prepare and host a webcast on broadcast technology.

“The need for innovative, technology-proficient talent in our industry is growing,” said NABEF President Marcellus Alexander. “The TAP program addresses this need by attracting and preparing the next generation of engineers and technology professionals for essential roles at radio and television stations.”
