New York Times Podcast A Hit On Radio

The radio edition of The New York Times’ popular podcast The Daily continues to expand its audience as nine major public radio stations have added, or soon will add, the program to their lineup. The show now airs on 25 stations across the country. The program is a collaboration between the vaunted newspaper and American Public Media, and has five million monthly unique listeners. It premiered on 16 radio stations on April 2. The radio edition of the The Daily gives public radio listeners a deep analysis of one or two of the day’s top news stories. It is hosted by journalist Michael Barbaro, who is a former national political correspondent at The New York Times and host of the 2016 election podcast The Run-Up.

The Daily is available weekday afternoons, and listeners can find their area’s specific air time by visiting their local station online. The stations that recently began, or will soon begin, carrying The Daily include:
