Chicagoans Donate Big-Time For Vets

WDRV-FM/Chicago’s The Sherman & Tingle Show recently celebrated the success of their “Give a Vet a Pet” campaign. The show, in partnership with the 1 Pet-1 Vet charitable organization, aimed to raise enough money in one week (March 19-23) to provide a service dog to a local veteran suffering from PTSD. The costs associated with providing one service dog total $15,000. That target was blown away with a total of $60,000 raised!

Sherman and Tingle said, “We are perpetually committed to serving the Chicago community. It’s an honor to be entrusted with a megaphone as influential as The Drive’s to advance worthy causes like this one. We’re eager to lead the next charge to benefit pets and veterans throughout Chicagoland.”
