John O’Connell is the new PD for Kiss Country 99.9 (WKIS-FM) in Miami. O’Connell will continue to program Entercom’s Alternative station in Miami (104.3 The Shark). O’Connell began his radio career in Boston at Kiss 108. In 1995, he joined 103.1 the Buzz in West Palm and was also on the team at Modern AC, Mix 102.3, South Florida Country 107.9 WIRK, and AC Sunny 104.3. Prior to Entercom Miami, O’Connell was PD at 98.7 The Fan in Tampa, CBS 1010 Sports, and Tampa Bay Country 99.5 WQYK.

O’Connell takes over PD responsibilities from Rob Morris who remains with Entercom Miami at Power 96.
