Eric Small, the founder of Modulation Sciences, was struck and killed at a Publix in Delray Beach this past weekend. The elderly driver of the vehicle apparently had a heart attack and lost control of her car, striking Small and another person who also died. Small co-invented the Optimod, invented microgroove recording for Columbia records and was also Chief Engineer at WOR-FM in New York. Small was 71 yeas old.
