CMT, a unit of Viacom Inc., and iHeartMedia’s Premiere Networks announced Friday a multi-year deal that keeps intact the world’s largest country music platform spanning radio, television, digital, and social, and reaching more than 100 million combined fans. Award-winning country radio and CMT personality Cody Alan (pictured) will continue as host of Premiere Networks’ long-running syndicated radio program CMT After MidNite with Cody Alan, which celebrates 25 years on-air this year. Alan was recently nominated for ACM Radio Awards’ “National On-Air Personality of the Year.”
