Non-Advertising Revenue Boosts Univision’s Radio Division

On Thursday, Univision reported total radio revenue of $79 million for the fourth quarter of 2017. That’s an increase of 8.5% over 2016. However, advertising revenue for the radio segment decreased 5.5% to $63.4 million from $67.1 in Q4. Univision defined its non-advertising revenue as “contractual revenue” which increased from $5.7 million to $15.6 million and included the recognition of $11.8 million related to “an intellectual property license.”
