WPEG-FM/Charlotte (Power 98) has partnered with Habitat for Humanity Charlotte for the second year in a row to build a home for a local Charlotte family. The house will be located in the Lakewood neighborhood of Charlotte. No Limit Larry and the Morning Maddhouse will kick off the initiative with a live broadcast on January 12, which will also launch the weekend of community service in celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr. Power 98 staff, listeners, and business associates will continue to build the home until it’s completed in March 2018.
The station invites listeners and residents of the Charlotte Metropolitan Area to join the on-air personalities each weekend to help with the project. The complete schedule of build dates can be found at www.power98fm.com.
