Eight broadcasters, including two from the radio industry, will be inducted into the inaugural College at Brockport WBSU Hall of Fame. Entercom’s Michael Doyle and former WTAR/WLTY Norfolk GM Ron Reger are among those being honored. A ceremony will be held April 14, 2018 on the upstate New York campus.
Also going in are David Van Wie, the station’s first FM General Manager from 1981-1983. Bernard Lynch the station’s former Chief Engineer who helped design the station’s current facility in the Seymour Union and oversaw the transition to FM in 1981. Doyle is Entercom’s Regional President/President of Sales Operations at Entercom overseeing 14 markets and Reger was an early station manager as a student and former the Vice President and Radio G.M. of WTAR/WLTY in Norfolk, VA
