Jason Barrett is reporting that Jones’ radio show is being canceled by ESPN because it was hemorrhaging affiliates. There is also reporting that Jones wants the show to end. Jones’ show airs 4p-7p on the network.
The Big Lead reports Jones approached ESPN hoping to end his radio show to host a daily digital program, “feeling that a podcast was better suited for the cultivation of his large social media audience than terrestrial radio.”
