So when myTalk 107.1/Twin Cities donated 215,000 diapers, blankets, baby clothes, and cash for the people affected by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, it was a very big deal – and a welcome one. The station’s listeners stopped at two locations, Monday and Tuesday, September 11 and 12, to fill a 26-foot truck bound for the Texas Diaper Bank in San Antonio. Sponsors and listeners donated an additional $8,500 that will buy diapers and baby supplies for the Texas Diaper Bank and the Miami Diaper Bank in Florida.
