The Las Vegas station partnered with Zappos For Good, Lyft, and the Salvation Army for a three-day broadcast September 6-8 to collect items for Hurricanes Harvey and Irma relief efforts. At the end of the three days, Chet Buchanan & the Morning Zoo filled five semi-trucks with donated supplies and hit the road for the 1,200 mile trek from Las Vegas to the Salvation Army Divisional Disaster warehouse in Arlington, Texas, just outside of Dallas.

“Our listeners have done it again! Five semis filled in three days for people who really need it in the aftermath of Harvey and Irma is phenomenal,” said morning show host Buchanan. “Much love and thanks to our new best friends at Zappos For Good, the Salvation Army, and Lyft for being amazing partners. Thanks to the Westgate Resort and Casino for financing an adventure we will never forget, and Mercer Transportation for getting all of the donations there quickly and safely. We love you all!”
