Wouldn’t it be nice if radio had a handful of advertisers just like The Home Depot, a company that certainly understands the power of radio. According to Media Monitors, The Home Depot aired over 100,000 commercials on radio stations across the country. That’s more than double the number two advertiser GEICO (42,250). The Home Depot’s big competitor Lowe’s fell completely out of the Media Monitors top ten to 11th. The US Department of Transportation was 3rd (29,933), while AutoZone was 4th (26,030) and Discover was 5th (25,266).
